Exotic orchids that resemble some classy dancing girls, with orange-ish colored petals this beautiful flower is commonly known as the Ballerina Orchid, and as Caladenia melanema by their scientific name.
These graceful dancers are doing a pirouette with their arms raised, just like ballerinas dancing the Black Swan. They grow one by one or in groups in different parts of Australia. The Ballerina has been listed as “Critically Endangered” under the Australian Government.
