Harbin Ice and Snow fiesta is China’s original and greatest ice artwork festival, attracting hundreds of thousands of local people and visitors from all over the world.
The first Ice lanterns were a winter-time tradition in northeast China. During the Qing Dynasty（1644 – 1911), the locals and fishermen often made and used ice lanterns as jack-lights during the winter months.
At that time these were made simply by pouring water into a bucket that was then put out in the open to freeze. It was then gently warmed before the water froze completely so that the bucket-shaped ice could be pulled out.

Cheltenham Festivals in the United Kingdom
This festival is held every March in the United Kingdom, and it is an event that gathers some of the best British and Irish trained racehorses.
Since the meeting is usually held around the same time as Saint Patrick’s Day celebrations, the Cheltenham Festival is extremely popular with Irish visitors. There are several Grade I races held over four days.
I am rating these ones with 5 stars based on my own personal traveling and use of them this year.

3. The Four Seasons Resort Dubai at Jumeirah Beach is affordable for the luxury and comfort it offers to its guests. The best of times in Dubai you will have if you stay here.
4. The Royal Palm in the Galapagos Islands and their staff exceeded our expectations of fun and adventure, coordinating 3 boat trips and 3 land trips. The food was very good, and when we were unable to make it back for a meal, they coordinated with a restaurant in town for our meal. This was unexpected. Our kids enjoyed the grounds and being somewhat away from everything allowed them to run around and enjoy the facilities.
5. The Intercontinental Alpensia Pyeongchang Resort in South Korea knows how to give pleasure to its customers. We found peace and fun at the same time depending on the place and activity. We stayed here for 7 nights and we loved it! We loved everything about the suite. The bed was super comfy. The shower and the bathroom were superb. We loved the breakfast too. Lots of choices, western and Korean.
Amazing artistic architects create homes that are unique wonders around the world. The singular winsomeness of these structures are mind and eye captivating.
Some of them might look uncomfortable or rustic, but they have the most modern technology and ample spaces to perform any activity within the house. The bedrooms, living rooms and bathrooms of these houses are enormous.
For example, the retro design of the first house image (the Flintstones Cave house) is most certainly not stuck in the past. It comes with spectacular views of the Pacific Ocean, a large television area, a spacious kitchen and fully working WI-FI.
The second image is the Star Trek House. It is designed with the interior of the Star Trek Voyager spaceship, complete with LED lighting and intergalactic sound effects.
The third house is House Spitbank Fort in the Solent near Portsmouth Harbour
The fourth image is of a floating house, which is very stable and combines both nautical and modern luxury. It boasts 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a rooftop terrace, a boat lift and deed parking.
From November 30 to December 2nd the greatest exponents of this fantastic musical genre jazz enlightened a part of earth and its inhabitants with celestial musical notes, with magisterial interpretations that took the listeners to the highest levels of heaven on earth. The joy in each assistant was obvious.
We could feel each note penetrating our soul with tenderness sometimes, others, with majestic savage rhythm, making us gleeful in the middle of paradise, the sea waves sound seemed to touch the music coming out the instruments and vocal cords of the musicians and singers. The palm trees were dancing to this marry-making of glorious sounds.
November is a wonderful month to travel. Since cooling temperatures are arriving in the northern hemisphere and they will stay here for several months, traveling to a country where I am going to find warmth and colorful ambiance is my priority. The southern hemisphere is in spring now, but there are other cities in the northern hemisphere that sound appealing: like Texas or Palm Springs if you don’t want to travel far away.
If you are a serious traveler: Argentina and Bermuda are perfect for this time of the year.
Spring in Argentina can steal your heart. Argentinian food will satisfy the most sophisticated palate.
Ireland is a great country to visit or to make it your home permanently. It is a wonderful place in the world, it robs your soul completely with its fantastic paradises, nature and the warmth of its people. If you plan to go there you have to stay for at least 3 or 4 weeks to really explore and enjoy the most you can without rushing. You might want to stay in Ireland forever!
Caesar (Cesare) Cardini Caesar was born near Lago Maggiore, Italy, in 1896; he and his brother Alex emigrated to the U.S. after World War I. The Cardini’s lived in San Diego but operated a restaurant in Tijuana to circumvent Prohibition.
Going to the FORMULA 1 2018 ETIHAD AIRWAYS ABU DHABI GRAND PRIX every year is a must! But before the car racing that takes place in November, from the 23rd to the 25th, I like to enjoy the DUBAI AUTODROME with my daughter and my son-in-law (of course, we use the autodrome in times designated for beginners only): the Kartdrome … it’s fun!
My Favorite to WIN this year: Max Verstappen driving during the 2017 Abu Dhabi
Now, seriously, I hope this year’s Formula One gets better than last years. Gotta admit that it was a boring experience. I like adrenaline and spice in car racing. 2017 brought fans such high points as 35 spot grid penalties for teams that were forced to change an engine or transmission before the FIA, in its infinite wisdom, thought appropriate. The FIA has this absurd notion that fans care a flying fig leaf about durability of powertrain components. Note to Jean Todt, the taciturn head of the organization — they don’t.
This year’s preliminary schedule features 21 races — the most ever — but the teams will be forced to complete the expanded format with one less engine. Beginning in 2018, they were allowed to use only three engines for the entire season. Last year’s (2017) driving champion, Lewis Hamilton, frets that this year’s car will be like driving a bus because the drivers will be forced to conserve the equipment instead of battling each other on track.
If you missed this year’s great Abu Dhabi 2018 car racing, you can still prepare now for next year’s:
Beneath the opera house, Palais Garnier, there sits a water tank, and some folks say that once a man lived there who had no face. “The Phantom of the Opera” was based upon this place. The inspiration for Gaston Leroux’s Phantom of the Opera.
